Please, take a moment to read out Terms of Service carefully, as they contain important information regarding your stay in Rome.
All properties featured on WelcometoR-Home are composed of private apartments usable as holiday flats for short term rentals. Said properties cannot be classified in any international category such as hotels, hostels, bed & breakfast or resorts.
WelcometoR-Home provides services of: promotion of the accommodation on-line; management of the bookings and contacts with the Guest before and during the stay; welcome and check-in to the accommodation (see conditions below); assistance throughout a Guest’s stay; payment collection on behalf of the Owner; Guest’s check-out (see conditions below). WelcometoR-Home service fee is included in the accommodation fees listed on the website.
Availability and price of the apartments can be checked through the website www.welcometor-home.com. All prices on the website are subject to change without notice. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, WelcometoR-Home shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a property listed at the incorrect price.
To complete a reservation, a downpayment is required. Balance will be paid upon arrival during check-in. All the payments will be in Euro currency. WelcometoR-Home can accept the following payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), Paypal, cash.
A reservation is confirmed as soon as WelcometoR-Home sends via e-mail the relevant booking confirmation to the Guest.
Standard check-in time is between h. 14:00 (2pm) and h. 21:00 (9:00pm).
When it is possible, we do our best to check you in as soon as you arrive. Although, if you need to have a guaranteed early check-in before h. 14:00 (2 pm), we suggest to book the apartment for the previous night.
Late check-in after h. 21:00 (9 pm) is possible by paying an extra late check-in fee in Euro cash upon arrival. The late check-in fee will cover the overtime of WelcometoR-Home staff waiting for you at the apartment.
The amount of the late check-in fee depends on the actual time of arrival at the apartment and it will be applied as follows:
Please, note that WelcometoR-Home cannot accommodate check-in after 1:00 am.
Check-in on Bank Holidays may incur a holiday fee (+ € 20).
In any case, the Guest must communicate the scheduled time of arrival in Rome at least 48 hours before, so to fix a meeting time at the apartment. Without this information we cannot ensure a check-in at the accommodation at the desired time. Once the check-in meeting time has been fixed, the Guest is required to keep WelcometoR-Home updated about any delay on the agreed check-in time.
During check-in, WelcometoR-Home’s staff will show the accommodation, give the keys to the Guest and provide him with useful information about the stay in Rome.
Guests must show their Passports/ID cards to WelcometoR-Home’s staff to complete the registration: according to Italian law (article 109 of the T.U.L.P.S., Testo unico delle Leggi di Pubblica Sicurezza, Regio Decreto 18 giugno 1931, n. 773), all those providing accommodation of any sort are obliged by law to disclose to the Italian national Police Authority personal information of all their customers within 48 hours, as a national security and counter-terrorism measure.
The information required are: Name, Surname, Nationality, Place of birth, Date of birth, Passport or ID number, Country of Issuance.
The information must be transmitted to the national Police, through the Italian Police secure web portal (https://alloggiatiweb.poliziadistato.it/PortaleAlloggiati/). These data are only collected for the above-mentioned purpose and are immediately destroyed after your check-out date.
Please, note that by law WelcometoR-Home cannot host those refusing to provide these personal details.
Upon check-in, the Guest must pay any pending fee (accommodation, cleaning, city tax, etc.) in accordance with what previously agreed via e-mail. It remains understood that the number of occupants must match with the confirmed booking, and that if that number exceeds the one stated when the apartment was booked, a difference of price may be applied.
WelcometoR-Home can accept the following payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), Paypal, cash.
Please, note that city tax fee must be collected in Euro cash upon arrival.
The amount of the city tax fee is established by Roma Capitale Authority and calculated on the number of guests and nights. Should the city tax fee rate be increased by Roma Capitale Authority after the booking confirmation is issued and before the actual stay in Rome, the Guest will pay the fee according to the updated rule.

At check-in WelcometoR-Home’s staff might require the payment of a damage deposit that will be refunded within 48 hours after check-out following an inspection of the apartment. Damage deposit can be paid either cash or via Paypal; it will be refunded using the same method of payment. Damage deposit can also be covered simply providing credit card information, that will not be used unless damages to the accommodation will be reported.
Damages to the accommodation are, for example, loss of keys; damage to furniture and decorations; damage to the building, including the exterior and common parts; violations of the rules for the collection of waste, which are liable to a fine from the City Hall. Please, note that the loss of keys will bring about the retention of the security deposit.
The Guest agrees to pay the cost of any damages to the accommodation either by subtraction of the equivalent amount from the damage deposit paid upon check-in, or charging the credit card provided as damage deposit. The Owner reserves the right to take action on the Guest, should the cost of damages exceed the damage deposit.
Upon arrival the accommodation will be prepared with bed linens, towels (a set of towels for each person booked), bathroom rug and kitchen towel. It is possible to get extra towels by paying an extra fee (+€ 5 per person). For stays over 7 nights WelcometoR-Home will leave a suitable number of towels.
Please, note that any request for a bed setting different from that shown in the listing pictures (for example a double bed instead of 2 single beds) must be communicated at least 48 hours before arrival. Any request for change of the bed setting after this term will incur in the payment of an extra fee.
WelcometoR-Home’s staff will make sure that the Guest will find all the basic supplies as a welcome kit (dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper and alike). The Guest has the right to use all the equipment included with the accommodation, while He/She has no claim for further supplies, when those provided at check-in have been used up during the stay.
The Guest is responsible for leaving the accommodation in the condition it was upon arrival. While we would never ask to clean the apartment, the Guest is expected to wash the dishes and take out the trash following the instructions provided.
Should the Guest incur any problem related to the apartment, its furniture and amenities, we encourage to report it to us immediately: we will do our best to help you and fix the problem as soon as possible.
Check out is within 10:00 am on the end date of reservation. If we do not have other guests coming in on the same day, WelcometoR-Home will be happy to let the Guest stay longer. Although, if a Guest needs a guaranteed late check-out, we advise to book the apartment for the following evening at the full cost of one night. Please do not hesitate to contact WelcometoR-Home if you need help in finding a storage deposit.
To cancel a confirmed reservation, the Guest is required to reach WelcometoR-Home via e-mail at email@example.com. A reservation is only officially cancelled once the Guest has followed the above instructions and received confirmation.
Any cancellation on the part of the Guest will incur the following cancellation charges:
The above policy refers to all cancellations regardless of the reason for cancellation.
In the rare event that the Owner has to cancel for necessity or emergency a confirmed booking at any time, WelcometoR-Home will do its best to find the Guest an alternative equivalent accommodation. As an alternative to the latter, WelcometoR-Home will return to the Gust the whole amount prepaid.
It is to be understood that the Guest has no claim if decides to shorten the stay at the accommodation without giving notice of it via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 30 days before the expected date of arrival.
Any type of refund will be subject to an administration fee for an amount of € 20, plus the commission fees due to the payment gateway (for an amount variable between 1-4% of the payment itself, depending on the service e.g. Paypal, Stripe, Credit Card, Sumup, etc.).
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between WelcometoR-Home and a Guest booking our services through the website www.welcometor-home.com or any other websites used to promote the accommodation listed. The Guest is accepting these Terms of Service as soon as the ‘accept’ box on the website’s confirmation form is checked.
These Terms of Service will be interpreted in accordance with the Italian Laws. The Guest agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of a court located in Rome – Italy, exclusively, subject to a prior attempt to settle any possible disputes amicably.
